BRIEF PROFILE OF PARTNERS

CA PREM BHANDARI

Prem Bhandari qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1980 and has since been in practice. He is a partner in the firm since 1990. As a partner he leads the direct tax practice. He has 41 years of post-qualification experience and has specialized in direct taxes including representation before Income tax Appellate Tribunal, structuring and tax related issues on Cross Border transactions and Transfer Pricing studies. He advises number of international and domestic companies on range of tax and regulatory issues.

CA NAGARAJAN KASHINATH

Nagarajan Kashinath qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1984 and has since been in practice. He is a partner in the firm since 1990. As a partner he oversees the Audit and Assurance Practice of the Firm more particularly Audit of large Corporates. In his post qualification experience of 37 years, he has specialised in auditing and advisory role together with impact of new standards including compliance with corporate laws and regulations.

CA SAMIR MEHTA

Samir Mehta qualified in the year 1987 and and has since been in practice. He is a partner in the firm since 1998. In his post qualification experience of 34 years, he specializes in Audit and Assurance services of large PSU/Corporates and Advisory Services with greater emphasis on Strategy Consulting, Financial Services, Business Consulting, Acquisition Strategy, Project Finance, Foreign direct investments etc. He was among the first few to set up a NBFC in India and continues to remain as an Independent Professional Director on the Board of the said Listed entity and also the Boards of other Private companies in India.

He has also participated as a faculty speaker in the programme conducted by Continuous Education Programme of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for Telecom Industry, on lease finance by the Association of Leasing and other such forums.

CA SANJAY KHEMANI

Sanjay Khemani qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1990 and is a partner in the firm since 2000. He topped the All-India Merit list in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has completed his Final Company Secretary Examination in 1991 with a rank and also holds a Diploma in Information Systems Audit and has qualified for Certificate Course on Valuation conducted by ICAI in 2009 and a Portfolio Management course conducted by IIM, Ahmedabad.

His post qualification experience of 31 years spans across various industries including Banks, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Ports and Infrastructure. He has considerable experience in financial service sector as well as in the regulatory and policy areas.

He has been part of the group entrusted with the responsibility of Guidance Note on Bank Audits in 2009 and 2010 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has contributed article of professional interest in ICAI Journal and has been regular faculty in Seminars organized by ICAI. He is also one of the Technical Reviewer for reviewing best presented accounts. He has also been a faculty member in seminars for bankers/regulators.

CA NAVIN JAIN

Navin Jain qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1992 and and has since been in practice. He is a partner in the firm since 1997. He joined the firm as a partner by virtue of merger of M/s. R.J. & VKG Associates with the firm. In his post qualification experience of 29 years, he has managed diverse engagements in the nature of Internal/Management Audits of Corporates, Firms & Trusts, Statutory Audit of Banks, Service Tax/GST Consultancy and in Direct Taxes practice including representation before revenue authorities.

CA VIPUL MODY

Mr. Vipul Mody qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1992 and has since been in practice. He is a partner in the firm since 1994.He was ranked Forty Ninth in the All India Merit list in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined the firm as a partner by virtue of merger of V.K. Mody and Co. with the firm. In his post qualification experience of 29 years, he has specialized in areas of Direct and Indirect taxes including representation before revenue authorities.

Varun Kothari qualified as Chartered Accountant in 2002 and is a partner in the firm since 2005. In his post qualification experience of 19 years, he has specialized in the area of Audit and Assurance services of large corporation in the Private Sector and Public sector operating in the financial services such as Banks, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Depository Participants, Brokers, NBFC.

Samir Gaglani qualified as Chartered Accountant in 2004 and is a partner in the firm since 2018. In his post qualification experience of 17 years, he specialises in areas of Direct taxes including representation before revenue authorities.

CA NITESH JAIN

Nitesh Jain qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008 and is a partner in the firm since 2008. In his post qualification experience of 13 years, he has experience in Statutory and Internal Audit of Corporates & Banks, Company Law and Service Tax/GST matters.

CA HIREN MUNI

Hiren Muni qualified Chartered Accountant in 2011 and has since been in practice. He is a partner in the firm since 2018. He holds a Diploma in Information Systems Audit and has qualified as a Certified Fraud Examiner from ACFE, USA. In his post qualification experience of 11 years, he has specialised in Audit and Assurance and Risk based internal audit of large industrial corporations in varied industries.

CA GAYATRI SONAVANE

Gayatri Sonavane qualified Chartered Accountant in 2002 and is a partner in the firm since 2018. She had joined the firm in 2003 as a qualified executive. In her post qualification experience of 19 years she handled different disciplines such as audits and taxation of individuals and private limited companies, project consultancy, Company Law matters, Income Tax matters, TDS matters, Service Tax matters, FEMA and RBI compliances.

Vasant Gala qualified as Chartered Accountant in the year 1985 and is a partner in the firm since 2021. He had joined the firm in 2006 as a qualified executive. In his post qualification experience of 36 years he specialises in Audit and Assurance practice of large and medium sized corporates along with detailed knowledge of Company Law.

Manish Singhania qualified as Chartered Accountant in 2012 and is a partner in the firm since 2021. He has joined the firm in 2008 as an articled trainee and been associated with the firm since last 14 years. Dimple Maru qualified as a chartered accountant in the year 2011 and is a partner in the firm since 2021. She had joined the firm in 2012 as a qualified executive. She has also qualified as Certified Information System Auditor along with International Taxation and INDAS certification. In her post qualification experience of 10 years, she has specialised in the area of audit and assurance services of large corporates in the Public and Private Sector in varied industries.

CA KRISHAN SHARMA

Krishan Sharma qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2014 and is a partner in the firm since 2021. In his post qualification experience of 7 years, he specialises in Indirect Tax practice including compliance, advisory and litigation matter of Service Tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST) of various clients including leading BFSI organisations. He represents the clients before Service Tax and various state tax authorities upto CESTAT level.
